Rediffusion Supports Elderly Needy Patients

Rediffusion announced the sponsorship of 50 Rediffusion wireless radio receivers with a one-year fee waiver to elderly beneficiaries under the care of the Home Nursing Foundation (HNF).

2 February 2008 - Rediffusion announced the sponsorship of 50 Rediffusion wireless radio receivers with a one-year fee waiver to elderly beneficiaries under the care of the Home Nursing Foundation (HNF).

Rediffusion Director Mr Peter Kwok presented a symbolic 1950s Rediffusion receiver to Singapore President S.R. Nathan and HNF president Mrs Fang Ai Lian during HNF's Senior's Nite 2008.

Part of Rediffusion's corporate social responsibility effort to contribute back to society, these elderly residents who are receiving medical care at home and find it difficult to get out of home will now get to enjoy Rediffusion's English, Mandarin and dialect music content across nine digital channels.
