Since 1949, Rediffusion touched the lives of many Singaporeans through her cabled radio station - Redi Gold. Whether it was through dialect stories told by the legendary 李大傻 (Lei Dai Sor), 黄正经 (Ng Chia Keng), 王道 (Ong Toh) or the different types of music that was aired during that era, Rediffusion is iconic in every Singaporean's heart and homes. Families gathered daily and bonded around their wooden Rediffusion box, listening to news, music and stories that were part of their everyday life.

Today, Rediffusion offers a full suite of 15 regional and international channels that include 3 local radio stations, 4 regional and international infotainment radio stations and a total of 8 commercial free stations. That makes Rediffusion the ONLY radio broadcaster in Singapore that owns the most number of channels.

Rediffusion is also the 1st in the WORLD to broadcast on Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus (DAB+). This digital platform allows our subscribers to enjoy Rediffusion's programs on our wireless digital receiver, which boasts flawless crystal-clear sound as compared to the fizzy FM noise.

Though there is tremendous evolution in Rediffusion, we still stand by our core values and motto of “Being A Candle” like in the advertisement on the press in 1949. Like the candle, we sacrifice ourselves to light up every home, providing only the best in radio entertainment nationwide.
